Echoing both the Flemish renaissance master Pieter Bruegel and the British children’s illustrator Martin Handford (famous for his Where’s Wally? series), London’s Burning is an intricate, darkly comic map of Gold Peg’s home city. The map replicates the vibrancy, absurdity and anarchy of Gold Peg’s work, an auto-biographical journey in which adventure, exploration and excitement are intertwined with the cities topography.
